ANN ARBOR (WXYZ) — A 25-year-old man is in police custody at Washtenaw County Jail for allegedly sexually assaulting a 96-year-old woman inside her home on Aug. 4.

The incident happened just before 4 a.m. in the 3200 block of Williamsburg at the Colonial Square Cooperative.

Police say the suspect and victim reside within the same cooperative complex.

An investigation found that the suspect, 25-year-old Dejon Dejor Lynn, allegedly broke into the resident's home through a window and assaulted her.

The victim was later treated and released after being evaluated at a local hospital.

Two days after the alleged assault, the suspect was taken into custody. Police initially executed a search warrant at the suspect's home on Aug. 5, but he wasn't there. Detectives were able to later locate him at a home in Belleville on Aug. 8.

The suspect is being held with no bond and is charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct and first-degree home invasion.
