A 33-year-old man told police he was assaulted by five men after leaving a club in Detroit on Sunday. He was then stuffed in the trunk of his own car, according to a preliminary police report.
The victim, who was driving a 2016 Lexus, had left an after-hours club at 2:23 a.m.
According to police, the five male suspects assaulted the victim and put him in the trunk of the Lexus. The suspects then forced him out of the vehicle at an unknown location.
The perpetrators also stole an undisclosed amount of money from the victim.
Police add that the investigation is ongoing and that this is preliminary information, which may change.
