A 40-year-old man was charged with first-degree murder in the death of a Shelby Township woman.
Police initially were called to the Crystal Lake Apartments March 17 for a reported suicide of a 44-year-old woman. She had been shot in the head.
After officers and detectives worked the scene, they determined it was suspicious and took Joshua Boshell into custody that day.
Boshell was charged with homicide-murder first degree premeditated and felony firearms. He was arraigned in 41A District court and given no bond.
Police said they have responded to the home in the past for domestic related calls.
