A man died after the car a passenger in the car in front of him got out and opened fire on Detroit's west side.
A witness told police that the victim, a 30-year-old man, was following a gray Nissan Altima south on Artesian when the Altima pulled over to the side of the street.
The passenger got out of the vehicle and fired approximately 10 shots in the direction of the victim's vehicle, striking the victim.
Police say after being shot, the victim lost control over his vehicle and struck several parked cars on Artesian.
The victim was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police are still investigating.
