Man hospitalized after being shot at while driving in Detroit

DETROIT (WXYZ) — Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting in Detroit early Wednesday morning.

On March 11 around 2:40 a.m., the 27-year-old male victim was driving in the area of LaSalle and Glendale when someone in an unknown vehicle began firing shots, striking the victim in the body.

Police say the victim then tried to drive himself to the hospital, but called a relative who took him to Saini-Grace Hospital from the 2300 block of Glendale. He has been listed in temp serious condition, according to police.

One of the stray bullets entered a home on Glendale, but no one was injured, police say.

There is no suspect information at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
