TROY, Mich. (WXYZ) — Troy Police say a 45-year-old man who became pinned underneath a wood chipper on Thursday has died from his injuries.
Police say officers responded to a self storage facility at 2477 W Maple where two men were reportedly working on the machine when the man became trapped.
The wood chipper was on a jack during the work. It was not operating at the time of the accident, police say.
The 45-year-old was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to those injuries.
