A 7 Action News videographer spoke to an elderly woman on scene who said she lives in the home. She said her son was pulled out of the home by firefighters and taken to the hospital. Still no word on the man's condition.
Unfortunately, the family dog did pass away.
Firefighters were able to put the fire out around 2 a.m., shortly after they got the call.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
