A man is looking for his girlfriend who was last seen around 6 p.m. Tuesday night in Royal Oak.
Royal Oak police say they are investigating her disappearance and do not know if foul play is involved.
Allen Reinwasser said in a Facebook post that his girlfriend, Holly Towery, texted him that she was going to the store at 6:17 p.m. Her phone was shut off at 6:23, according to the police investigation, he said.
The Facebook post has gone viral, receiving over 10,000 shares in nine hours.
She drives a grey, 2003 Dodge Durango and was last seen in a light blue sweatshirt and denim shorts.
Reinwasser said the last 'ping' on her phone was near Royal Oak at 12 mile and Stevenson.
Police say Towery's cell phone was found in Pontiac Wednesday afternoon near Giddings Road and Fairway Drive.
