A man was shot during a carjacking at a Detroit gas station early this morning.
Police tell us the man went inside the Valero station at Greenfield and Schoolcraft on Detroit's west side around 3:30 am Friday. The man left his Ford Explorer running. When he came back outside, the suspects were getting inside the vehicle. We're told the man tried to stop the suspects, and that's when he was shot.
Police say he victim was shot at least once in the stomach. We're told his injuries are non-life-threatening.
Police say no arrests have been made.
