DETROIT (WXYZ) — A man is in critical condition after being shot outside a coney island in Detroit.
Police responded to the Hollywood Coney Island on the 12000 block of Grand River around 12:10 a.m. Tuesday for reports of a non-fatal shooting.
The 27-year-old male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the abdominal region and right thigh and was taken to a nearby hospital, according to police. He was rushed into surgery and therefore unable to give police his account of what happened.
Right now, officers are still investigating the shooting.
