DETROIT (WXYZ) — A man was hit by a stray bullet outside of a Detroit party store Friday night.
The 41-year-old male victim told police he was inside his friend's car parked in front of a party store on E. Van Dyke and & 7 Mile, when a group of men began arguing around 11:09 p.m. A gunshot was fired by one of the men. The victim told officers the round struck the pavement, ricocheted off the ground, hit the car's floorboard then penetrated his left foot.
The victim was privately taken to a hospital and listed in stable condition.
Police have not yet identified a suspect.
