A man charged with stealing two guns from two guys lying on the ground after a robbery and shootout will stand trial.

38-year-old Lloyd Love, also known as Andre Holly, is charged with several counts of Felony Firearms, Larceny and Habitual Offender 4th Offense.

The incident happened back on June 4 in the 2000 block of Gratiot.

Gregory Bentley was off duty when he tried to stop a robber. They got into a shootout and Bentley was shot in the chest and foot.

The other 22-year old man was killed.

The scene was captured on surveillance from a nearby liquor store. Officer Bentley was able to identify the man charged in a 6-pack photo lineup and again today in court.

His gun and cell phone were both stolen.
