A man is in custody after police say he crashed his pickup truck and then ran from the scene into another building.
Police say as the man tried to escape, he climbed out of the building's window and walked along a ledge to another building.
The chase started in Dearborn and came to an end on Detroit's west side.
Police arrested the man about a block away from where he crashed on Michigan Avenue near Wyoming Street.
Westbound Michigan Avenue is closed at Weir Street in Detroit for the investigation.
