Police are asking residents to stay indoors while a manhunt continues for an armed suspect in Warren.
Warren police responded to a 5:50 a.m. call of an armed robbery at the 8100 block of Prospect, a residential neighborhood.
A victim told police four men – all armed with masks on – approached him from behind.
All suspects attempted to speed off from the scene in a blue four-door vehicle when a short police chase began at 9 Mile and Hoover and ended at Timken Avenue.
All four men jumped out of the vehicle and began running. Police were able to apprehend three suspects – and recover one gun – but one man got away.
Right now, police are using a K-9 unit to search for this suspect. He is considered armed and dangerous, and neighbors are asked to stay indoors until the area is cleared.
