(WXYZ) — Recreational marijuana is now legal in Michigan and two entrepreneurs are taking advantage to offer infused fine dining and the first event is coming this Saturday night.

Key Locke and April Forbes are 2 Dope Chefz and their initial Cannabis-infused dining experience is happening Saturday night.

"Chef Key is a savory chef and I am a pastry chef and so we thought that, one it offered the perfect yin and yang, you know you gotta love your savory and the sweet,” says Forbes.

Forbes is the owner of April's Famous Bakes in Pontiac and the 2012 winner of Food Network's "Cupcake Wars".

The pop-up dinner will be held at a private location in Ferndale and feature a five-course meal.

“We have a special blend that we made with our oils. We use oil, butter and teastra. The combination of those things throughout the pop-up, so we'll be educating people on the medicinal properties from each strand that we use,” says Forbes. "If they don't already partake, they're interested in finding out how they can use this medicine in their food. We wanted to make sure that it was dosed precisely per course and our patrons can even choose to skip their doses or they can partake in as little or as much as they want to because everybody's tolerance level is going to be different."

If you're interested tickets for the dinner remain available. They are $75 per person. You can purchase them and preview the dinner menu at the 2DopeChefz.com.
