(WXYZ) — The Marijuana Regulatory Agency issued a public health and safety bulletin about contaminated "pre-rolls."
The products were sold at outlets located in Bay City, Hazel Park, Detroit, Traverse City, Ann Arbor, Lansing, River Rouge, Ferndale, and Lapeer.
Per an MRA investigation, an individual at 3843 Euclid's medical marijuana processor facility licked a pre-roll marijuana product while making the product.
The MRA then issued an order which placed all marijuana products in the business' inventory identified in the statewide monitoring system as a "pre-roll" on an administrative hold, prohibiting the sale or transfer of products.
In response, 3843 Euclid ceased all processing activities as of July 31 and intents to remain inactive until further instruction.
Those who have the contaminated pre-rolls should return them to the provisioning center or retailer where they were purchased.
Consumers are requested to report any adverse product reactions to the MRA via email: MRA-Enforcement@michigan.gov or via phone: 517-284-8599.
