Actor Mark Wahlberg will be back in metro Detroit once again on Friday, this time appearing at a couple Meijer locations to announce a new partnership with his restaurant, Wahlburgers.

Wahlberg will appear at the Meijer stores in Taylor at 9 a.m. and Royal Oak at 11 a.m. on Friday as the launch the new effort.
Beginning in 2018, nutrition leader PI will start offering its all-natural, high-performance sports nutrition and lifestyle products at all Meijer locations.
On top of that, the restaurant Wahlburgers will begin developing new locations on existing and future Meijer sites.
The first Meijer/Wahlburgers developed sites will start in Michigan and Ohio, and the company will also bring their new food trucks to select Meijer locations.
