Metro Detroit Weather Forecast: Showers and storms continue

Showers and storms continue to impact Metro Detroit thanks to a slow moving cold front moving thru the area. Even though heavy rain is still possible, storms will lose their punch after sunset and during the night. Temps will fall into the 60s as the Muggy Meter lowers. Tuesday will feel less humid with highs in the low 80s. The chance for rain is still there for Tuesday - but severe weather is not anticipated. From Wednesday through the weekend, great weather arrives with clear skies and lower humidity.

Tonight: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 3am. Cloudy, with a low around 67. Southwest wind 6 to 10 mph.

Tuesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 83. Northwest wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 62. Northeast wind around 5 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 80. North wind around 7 mph.
