Michigan spirits distributor team up with 5 distilleries donating to the Michigan Hospitality Fund

Imperial Beverage, a family owned and operated Michigan beer, wine and spirits distributor, is partnering with five distilleries in the state.

They will donate $10,000 to the Michigan Hospitality Industry Employee Relief Fundproviding $500 grants to hospitality workers directly impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has touched every sector of Michigan’s economy and the restaurant industry has taken the brunt of this impact,” said Joe Cekola, president of Imperial Beverage. The company has been owned and operated for over 30 years by the Cekola family.

Distilleries partnering with Imperial Beverage include:

· Three Chord Bourbon

· Ann Arbor Distilling

· Mammoth Distillery

· Grand Traverse Distillery

· Temperance Distilling

“There's never been a more critical time to band together and help those in need,” said Neil Giraldo, founder and chairman of Three Chord Bourbon.

Neil Giraldo played guitar with his musical partner and wife, Pat Benatar, for decades before becoming a passionate bourbon maker.

“Michigan is our home and by teaming up with other Michigan based leaders, we are hoping to make a more significant impact to help this relief fund,” Giraldo said.
