(WXYZ) — Flint-based Halo Burger has come up with a unique way to price their coffee this winter. The burger chain is giving customers a cup of coffee that will be priced according to the high temperature.
Beginning Monday, prices will change Monday through Friday to reflect the daily high temperature in Flint, according to weather.com. So, if the weather is expected to be 19 degrees, a cup of regular-sized coffee will be just 19 cents.
According to the company, the idea came from a customer service call where they learned the Thomas family used to price coffee every day according to the high temperature.
The deal will run through January or a limited time. The prices will be posted daily on the Halo Burger Facebook and Instagram story, and at the location near them. The price will not drop below 10 cents.
The nearest location to metro Detroit is located on Leroy St. in Fenton.
