Country superstar Miranda Lambert is asking concertgoers to help out Detroit Dog Rescue during her show at DTE Energy Music Theatre on Friday night.
As part of "The Bandwagon Tour" with Little Big Town, Turnpike Troubadours & Tenille Towers, Lambert asks fans to bring dog food, supplies, toys, treats and donations to fill the Little Red Wagon.
Those items then go to a local no-kill animal shelter at each town she visits. For her show in metro Detroit, she chose Detroit Dog Rescue.
Those who drop off their donations can sign up to win a meet-and-greet from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. while donations are being taken.
Detroit Dog Rescue started in 2011 and helps raise awareness for Detroit dogs and animals.
