A man featured on Detroit's Most Wanted, sought for home invasion and assault out of Oakland County, is now in police custody.
Alfred Garrett, 47, turned himself in after seeing himself on Detroit's Most Wanted.
Garrett was wanted for a pistol whipping incident in 2016, as well as for being a registered sex offender out of compliance.
“This guy is out of control, he’s dabbled with everything, he’s dabbled with drugs, he’s committed sex assault, he’s sold narcotics,” Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Aaron Garcia said.
“Nobody’s safe with guys like that out on the street, you don’t know who their next victim is going to be, is it going to be another armed robbery, is it going to be another sex assault? God forbid, a drug overdose? We don’t know,” Garcia said.
