The new and expanded Frankenmuth Cheese Haus will hold its grand opening celebration on Nov. 1.
Visitors who come to the opening will receive free gifts and can partake in a $150 gift basket giveaway that will contain a variety of Cheese Haus products and gifts.
Through Nov. 3, renowned cheese carver Sarah Kaufmann will be in-store carving a customized sculpture out of a 1,000-pound block of Wisconsin cheddar cheese along with other mammoth blocks of different cheese varieties.
Product demonstrations, free samples and live music will be planned throughout the weekend, with special events planned throughout the entire month of November.
The Cheese Haus offers more than 150 varieties of cheeses daily and, to accommodate more visitors, launched an expansion project to a new 16,000 square-foot Bavarian building.
