DETROIT (WXYZ) — A new restaurant is coming to the space formerly occupied by Farmer's Restaurant in Eastern Market.
On Tuesday, Eastern Market entrepreneur Frank Gjoka announced he will open Farmer Frank's, located in the same building at 2542 Market St. this spring.
Gjoka runs Frank's Deli & Grill, grocery store Frank's Meat & Produce, and Wigleys Wholesale Meat. He is remodeling the 4,600 square foot space owed by FIRM Real Estate.
According to the company, the restaurant will have a farm-themed interior built from scratch and seat more than 100 guests.
Farmer Frank's plans to work with local farmers to source and serve the freshest food options, and will serve breakfast and lunch to start with plans to add dinner.
