The ninth annual Record Store Day is on Saturday and record stores across the country are celebrating with numerous events.

In Detroit, a brand new record store opened up last year that garnered national attention.

Jack White's Third Man Records is celebrating Record Store Day with special releases, live bands, hot dogs and cold drinks.

The special releases include White's cover of Stevie Wonder's "You are the Sunshine of my Life" with the Muppets house band from his appearance on the show earlier this year.

Other artists participating in Record Store Day include: Bob Dylan, Twenty One Pilots, Metallica, The Doors, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Run the Jewels, New Barbarians, Patti Smith, Graham Nash, The Sonics, Phish, Mumford & Sons, The Shaggs, The Kinks, James Bay, Brandi Carlile, Florence + The Machine, Ravi Shankar, The WEeknd, Shawn Colvin & Steve Earle, The Ramones and hundreds of other artists.
