OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. (WXYZ) — UPDATE: All lanes reopen on northbound I-75 at Big Beaver after 50 ton rock salt spill, according to MDOT.

Northbound I-75 at Big Beaver Road is closed Saturday afternoon due to a crash, officials say.
According to Troy Police, a truck carrying a load of rock salt crashed on northbound I-75 at Wattles, spilling 50 tons of salt on the roadway. Right now, the left and center lanes are closed on northbound I-75 from Big Beaver Road. The left lane is closed southbound, police say.
No injuries were reported. Cleanup efforts are ongoing, police say.
Drivers are encouraged to take an alternate route.
