Oakland County man, woman arrested in Ohio; troopers seize marijuana edibles, 26 mason jars of THC Kool-Aid

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WXYZ) — The Ohio State Highway Patrol arrested a Michigan man and woman for possession and trafficking of more than $27,000 worth of marijuana, hashish and THC.

On Feb. 16, the Oakland County man and woman were pulled over for speeding in Wood County, Ohio on I-75. Troopers detected an odor of raw marijuana and saw marijuana in plain view during the traffic stop.

According to a release, troopers uncovered and seized more than nine pounds of marijuana edibles, 26 mason jars of THC Kool-Aid,92 THC vape cartridges and 15 grams of hashish wax. All of the items totaled $27,500 in worth.

Natasha L. Graham, 35, of Waterford, was a the passenger. Don S. Spillers Jr., 37, of Pontiac, was the driver. Both were taken to Wood County Justice Center in Bowling Green, Ohio. They're charged with possession and trafficking marijuana, both third-degree felonies, and possession and trafficking THC, both fifth-degree felonies.

If the two are convicted, they face up to eight years in prison and an up to $25,000 fine.
