An off-duty police officer accidentally discharged his off-duty firearm during a wrestling tournament at Fowlerville High School Saturday.
The officer accidentally discharged his off-duty sidearm while watching the wrestling meet and standing on the gym floor.
The bullet was lodged in the floor and there were no injuries from the shot.
One person was treated at the scene by EMS for a twisted ankle. The meet continued after a 50-minute delay.
Police are still investigating the incident.
