DETROIT (WXYZ) — An officer was involved in a vehicle crash while in pursuit of a homicide suspect on Detroit's east side Tuesday.
The officer, who officials say is in his 40s, was transported to a hospital and is listed in temporary serious condition. According to sources, the officer's vehicle was t-boned at the intersection. No information is available on other possible injuries.

The crash happened at Shoemaker near Pennsylvania and Cadillac Avenue.
