ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) — Firefighters were at the scene of a house fire with possible explosion in Rochester Hills Saturday afternoon.
The Rochester Hills Fire Department was dispatched to the 100 block of Saxon Ct. Firefighters arrived to find the attached garage fully involved with fire through the roof.
Officials say the fire got up into the attic space, causing the roof to partially collapse while firefighters were working the fire.
Twenty-five firefighters were on the scene; the family of three evacuated the house and was not injured.
No firefighters were injured. Investigators are determining the cause.
