An investigation is underway into a fiery crash on Detroit's west side that killed one person.
We're told the driver lost control on Evergreen near Joy Rd., hit a trash bin and then the car burst into flames.
Witnesses say there were three people inside the car, and we're told that one of the people died. It's not clear where they were sitting. One was taken to the hospital and the third was not seriously injured.
There is no word on what led up to the crash but police are still investigating.
