WXYZ DETROIT — Once again, it’s time to catch up on our viewer mail. Our station editorial about preparing yourself to vote in the November 5th General Election drew the responses. Clyde Williams wrote:

“Thank you for the update on absentee ballot availability in Michigan. It’s a nice option to have. I vote via absentee because it’s more convenient. My wife likes to vote in person.”

Della Tomey said:

“With all the information online about today’s candidates and issues, there’s no reason not to be an informed voter. If you don’t know anything about what’s on your ballot, it’s because you aren’t trying or interested.”

Our editorial about taking advantage of fall activities in our Great Lakes State receive thumbs up from Alexander Von Guddeck to Kenneth Pollard. One of our Channel 7 viewers, relayed this message:

“California can have the sun, mudslides, and earthquakes. Florida can have their sunshine and hurricanes. I’ll stick with beautiful and safe Pure Michigan. Fall is the best but every season here is great!”

- A. Langford

Someone else said:

“Get in your car and explore fall in Michigan. Over the next few weeks, the changing colors will be spectacular!”

- Allison Doud

And going back a few weeks to our editorial on the restoration of Michigan Central Station, Gia LaFave wrote:

“Thanks to your suggestion, we recently toured the train station. Wow! What a beautiful job of bringing that historic treasure back to life. The architecture is simply breathtaking. They don’t build structures like that anymore.”

That’s it for now. Thanks for writing and watching.
