Donald Trump's running mate, Mike Pence, made his first public appearance as the Republican VP nominee in southeast Michigan Thursday.
About a week after officially accepting the nomination, he spoke at the Diamond Center at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, to a crowd of a few hundred supporters.
Afterwards, he spoke exclusively with 7 Action News about his addition to the ticket.

Last night, Trump spoke in Toledo, Ohio.
The Democratic ticket has not announced local visits yet.
