YPSILANTI, Mich. (WXYZ) — A lockdown at Perry Early Learning Center in Ypsilanti was lifted just before 3 p.m. on Monday, after a reported shooting in the area.
The school, located on Perry Ave. near Parkridge Park, was locked down since just after 1 p.m.
Right now, details are scarce about the shooting that occurred in the area nearby, and it's not clear where the shooting happened.
Chopper 7 did capture police taking two people in custody near the school, but it's not clear if that was related to the reported shooting in the area.
