The victim, Aboudy Elhadi, was able to record the suspect on cell phone video. And there were no injuries.

Dearborn police say a tip led to the arrest. The person's identity is being withheld pending formal charges, police say.

“As a result of our excellent partnership with local media outlets and with the cooperation of concerned citizens, a swift arrest was made and our communities are safer,” Dearborn police said in a press release.

The shooting happened around 5:40 p.m. near Warren Avenue and Greenfield Road. The suspect allegedly pulled in front of the victim, cutting him off in traffic.

When Elhadi pulled alongside the vehicle, the driver pointed a gun at him and shot at him, leaving several bullet holes on his driver's side.
