'Elf on the Shelf' elves are causing mischief around the country — and one Ohio family woke up to quite a startling surprise this week.

Beth Cooper says the family's four elves decided to wrap the entire living room. From the couch to the coffee table to the Christmas tree, mostly everything was perfectly covered in wrapping paper.
Beth says the wrap job took the elves four hours using three big rolls of wrapping paper.
