DETROIT (WXYZ) — Police are investigating two non-fatal shootings that happened in Detroit overnight.

Non-fatal shooting on E State Fair & I-75

On July 19 around 9:20 p.m., a 20-year-old male victim reported to police that he was walking in the area of E State Fair and I-75 when he heard a shot and felt pain.

He was privately taken to a local hospital and listed in stable condition. Police say the victim changed his story several times.

Right now, there is no suspect in custody. But police say the unknown man is armed.

Non-fatal shooting on 20100 block of Tracey

On July 20 around 2:10 a.m., it was reported to police that gunshots were heard coming from the back of a home on the 20100 block of Tracey. Officers found a 23-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

Medics transported the victim to local hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

The suspect is unknown, police say.
