Garden City police are on scene investigating a shooting at a home overnight. According to police, they were called to the home on Arcola St. on a report of a shooting.
The homeowner says around 3 a.m. two men broke his back sliding glass door and walked into his home. When he heard them, he walked upstairs, and one of the suspects started shooting, hitting him in the thumb.
The other suspect was allegedly in his daughter's room.
According to the victim, there were six people in the home, two children and four adults. The homeowner said car keys were stolen and credit cards.
He was taken to the hospital but says he'll be OK. No one else was injured.
