Westland police are investigating after a man in his 50s was struck and killed at Michigan Avenue and Merriman Road Thursday morning.
Police said the northbound lanes of Merriman Road remain closed for investigation.
We're told the man was crossing a median when he was struck. The driver stopped, and is cooperating with police.
