Detroit police are investigating the cause of a deadly house fire on Detroit's east side.
It started around 3 a.m. on the 2000 block of Lawley Street near M-8 and I-75.
Police say the victim is a man believed to be in his 30s or 40s. Neighbors and witnesses tell Action News the man may have been squatting inside the home.
Investigators are looking into whether arson is to blame for the fire. So far, an exact cause has yet to be determined.
