(WXYZ) — Michigan State Police say they arrested 18 people and issued nearly 200 tickets during increase holiday traffic enforcement over the weekend.
According to MSP, they pulled over 247 people during the extended weekend.
Of those 247 stops, 111 were for speeding and 26 were for seat belt violations.
MSP said they also arrested two fugitives and had 16 other arrests.
In all, MSP said they issue 189 tickets, 160 verbal warnings, and had a top speed of 112 mph recorded during the campaign.
The enforcement happened along I-94 between US-23 and I-275.
