DETROIT (WXYZ) — Police are searching for a man who is accused of shooting two people inside a store on Sunday.
The shooting occurred at a greenlight location on East McNichols near Gunston.
Police say the gunman walked into the store and shook hands with one of the victims. At one point, a victim bumped into the suspect, causing him to drop something, and that's when a fight started. The second victim stepped in to try to diffuse the situation and that's when the suspect began shooting, police say.
One victim was hit in the chest and is in critical condition. The other was grazed in the head and is in stable condition.
Police say the shooter took off in a silver Chevy Malibu with no rims. Anyone with information is asked to call DPD at 313-596-1140.
