DETROIT (WXYZ) — Police are actively tracking a suspect who reportedly rammed into a Southfield police cruiser.
Officers are heavily armed and are currently tracking the suspect through Detroit's Rosedale Park. Michigan State Police have brought in a tracking dog, according to 7 Action News reporter Simon Shaykhet.

No official updates have been given yet, but people are being urged to avoid the area for their own safety.
