Multiple shooting incidents reported in Detroit around fireworks show

11:07 p.m.

Detroit police say two other people were shot in the Cass and Fort area Monday night around 10:45 p.m. 

Both the man and woman who were injured are expected to be OK.

Police say the shooting stemmed from an argument. 

The search is on for the three suspects. 

Police say this shooting was not related to the fireworks. 

10:34 p.m.

Detroit police say the 47-year-old woman was shot right by the Spirit of Detroit across from Hart Plaza around 9:50 p.m.

According to police, the woman was shot in the hip and sustained non-life threatening injuries. 

Two persons of interest are now in custody. 

The weapon has reportedly been recovered. 

 

10:24 p.m.

Detroit police say a woman was shot during the Detroit fireworks show near Hart Plaza late Monday night. 

The shooting happened at Woodward and Jefferson.

Police say the 47-year-old woman was an innocent bystander, shot after an argument broke out nearby. 

No suspects are in custody at this time.
