Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder is still under fire for the Flint water crisis, and both democratic presidential candidates are taking aim at the governor.

Both Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders are calling for Snyder to resign.

"I'm not resigning, I'm going to solve this problem," Snyder said. "I said I was sorry and I'm going to fix it."

7 Investigator Jim Kiertzner had a one-on-one interview with Sanders just a day after the debate.

"When the mistake is so horrific, when as a result of dereliction of duty, children are being poisoned, I think it is a good thing for the governor to say, 'look, I screwed up, I didn't mean to, but I screwed up,'" Sanders said.

Sanders also said he doesn't mean it to sound mean-spirited, but thinks the resignation would give confidence to people.
