Spotlight on the News: How Edee Franklin and Sanctum House survivors are combating human trafficking

WXYZ DETROIT — On Sunday, January 31, Spotlight on the News will focus attention on the growing problem of human trafficking in Michigan. What's being done about it, how is COVID-19 making it worse and how is Sanctum House helping the survivors? Our guests will include Edee Franklin, Founder & Chairperson of Sanctum House and "Claire", a human trafficking survivor who has become a strong advocate for those who have been victimized by this crime.

Spotlight on the News, now in its 56th season, is Michigan's longest-running weekly news and public affairs television program. It airs every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. on WXYZ-TV/Channel 7 in Detroit, is streamed live on wxyz.com and broadcast at 11:30 a.m. on 23.1 WKAR-HD in East Lansing.
