On Sunday, December 10, Spotlight on the News will feature an interview with Congressman Paul Mitchell, a Republican representing Michigan’s 10th District.  He'll talk about the proposed federal tax cut, education, transit and Michigan's race for governor.  We’ll also look at the resurgence of one of Detroit's most historic neighborhoods; the Avenue of Fashion.   Guests will include:  Dolphin Michael, President, Avenue of Fashion Business Association; Al Bartell, owner of Times Square Custom Clothing; as well as Kelley Jones and Renata Seals-Evans, co-owners of Goodness Gracious Alive.

 

Spotlight on the News, now in its 52nd season, is Michigan's longest-running weekly news and public affairs television program. It airs every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. on WXYZ-TV/Channel 7 in Detroit and 2:30 p.m. on 23.1 WKAR-HD in East Lansing and 6 p.m. on 23.2 WKAR World.
