On Sunday, April 23, women will be honored with a special tribute at the 62nd Annual Detroit NAACP "Fight for Freedom Fund" Dinner at Cobo Convention Center. All women attending the world's largest sit-down dinner are being asked to wear white. Rev. Wendell Anthony, president of the Detroit Branch and senior pastor at Detroit's Fellowship Chapel, told me and our WXYZ.com audience why women are being highlighted this year.
