A Pontiac school has closed today due to an emergency water leak, school officials announced Thursday.
The P.E.A.C.E Academy, located on Cottage Street, posted to Facebook earlier today that a pipe burst causing the school to close for staff and student safety.
In the post, school officials said parents will receive a call about their child heading back to their bus pick up stop. Parents should pick up their child from the pick up stop and not the school to avoid confusion.
