About 3,000 DTE Energy customers are without power Wednesday in the Troy and Clawson area.
The outages began Tuesday afternoon with the largest number of outages in the area of Crooks and 14 Mile.
The power outage map states the outages are due to an equipment problem.
The estimated time for restoration is now 9 p.m.
